Originally, a Blacksmith shop in the early 1900s, The Horseshoe Restaurant was appropriately named and opened as a Lunch Counter service in the 1930s, serving guest at a horseshoe shaped counter. A dining room was added in the 1940s, and the restaurant has been a staple in the community for over 80 years.
